Which website package is right for me?
Most clients choose between our $900 and $1,200 WordPress packages — a custom build is only necessary for specific needs like complex e-commerce or membership functionality. Between the two, we recommend the $1,200 package for its built-in blog. Google factors content freshness into rankings, and a consistently updated blog is one of the best ways to drive organic traffic. If you don’t have time to manage it yourself, we also offer blog content writing at our hourly rate.
How long does a build take?
A 900$ five page website can be delivered in a week. A 1200$ eight page website with a blog can be delivered in two weeks. We can not give a definitive timeline on custom builds until we’ve spoken and gone over the scope of the project.
How do you accept payment?
We accept secure payments through Stripe. After our discovery meeting, you’ll receive a link for a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due before final handoff.
What does my deposit entitle me to?
Your 50% deposit covers the research, project brief, design brief, and wireframes we develop early in the project. If you choose to walk away after paying your deposit, these materials are yours to keep. If you’d prefer not to receive them, we’ll refund half of your deposit instead.
Do I own what you build?
Yes, if you’ve paid in full, you own everything we developed: research notes, project brief, design brief, wireframes, web files, and your database are all yours to keep. We will deliver you a physical copy (yes, a USB if you’re local) or a zip file after completion of the project.
Will you help me deploy if I don’t host with you?
Yes — even if you’re hosting elsewhere, we’re happy to help with deployment. Since setups vary from host to host, this work is billed at our hourly rate. We’ll walk you through what’s needed before getting started so there are no surprises. Simple sites can be migrated in about an hour but custom deployments could take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.
What if I lose my files?
If you’re hosting with us, we maintain regular backups, so we’ll always have a current version of your site on file. If you choose to host elsewhere, we’ll hold onto your website files and database for up to a year after the project’s completion.
